Our History

GMP Plumbing specialises in providing exceptional quality plumbing solutions to a broad range of residential and commercial clients.

Tower Window Cleaning was first founded in 1979 by Garry Lewis. Originally named GL Cleaning, due to the trend of the era, Garry soon proved his value to the industry by single handedly competing for and winning exclusive tenders around Melbourne including RMIT University and numerous hospitals.

In 1987, with Melbourne’s skyline developing, The Rialto Towers contacted Garry asking him to help an existing contractor who was struggling with the magnitude of the Southern Hemisphere’s tallest commercial structure. Before long Garry was offered the contract exclusively as his reliability, efficiency, consistency and professionalism could not be matched by any other contractor and Tower Window Cleaning was born.

Michael Lewis, Garry’s son, joined the team in 1997. First impressions are lasting and immediate, and Michael believes the presentation of each building reflects the standards and aspirations of each owner, manager, tenant and visitor within. His friendly and personal approach has taken Tower Window Cleaning to a new level.

Today Tower Window Cleaning is an important subsidiary of Tower Enterprises. Tower Enterprises manages a portfolio that exceeds Two Billion Dollars’ worth of assets and the list of products and services provided has grown to include a broad range of any commercial building’s high access requirements.

Some 32 years later Tower Enterprises still services Australia’s iconic Rialto along with many other prominent Melbourne buildings. Tower Window Cleaning’s core values of friendly quality service, a can-do attitude and innovative pursuit of excellence remain and are welcomed by each and every one of our business partners and associated organisations.

The next chapter of success will be built through the same reliability, efficiency, consistency and professionalism that has made Tower Enterprises the premium resource that it is, and the friendships made along the way make that endeavour all the more worthwhile.
